I feel like I should just stop being the person I was to be loved like everyone else. I've been in love, sure. But I've never been loved back. Maybe, just maybe if I stop being the person I am then I'd be loved.

Zayn felt a few tears leak when he heard Harry pray to god. He didn’t know he prayed. They were vampires.
They were evil. But all his prayers weren’t revolved around him. They were revolved around Liam. Zayn walked soundlessly towards Harry, kneeling on the floor beside him, his fingers laced together as he shut his eyes.

‘Dear god please look after Liam up there. Make sure he’s happier than he was here’ Zayn said quietly, Harry following him. ‘Dear god please let Liam know that I love him. That I miss him’ he whispered. ‘Dear god please tell Liam that not one day goes by where I don’t think about him. Please tell him that I’m doing fine without him’ he said before shaking his head. ‘Dear god please tell Liam that I’m an emotional wreck without him. That I don’t I can live without him’ Zayn said, beginning to sob. ‘Dear god, please bring Liam back. I dont think I’ll be able to recover. Please god, i’m begging you’ he said, resting his head on his hands. ‘Dear god. I miss him so much’

Harry prayed with Zayn, they prayed for Liam, so that he would come back. He shut his eyes, letting all the tears escape before resting his head on his hands. “Amen” they said in unison. They were both quiet. Not wanting to say anything before he finally opened his mouth. “Zayn?” He said quietly and he felt his cousin react to his words.

“We’ll be okay right?” He asked, his chin trembling as he lifted his head. Harry looked over his cousin, tears leaking. “We’ll get through this. We can do it” He tried to tell his cousin. “Please tell me we’ll do this” He whispered like he needed to hear it because he did. Harry needed to know that they were going to be alright. That Liam’s death was just something that happened.
