Harry & Karla
Karla laughed as he jerked away. “A little jumpy are we?” She asked smiling. “Don’t worry I couldn’t hurt a fly.” She said. “In fact, I doubt I could even catch a fly.” She said frowning. “Anyway, I’m pretty good, what about you?” She asked looking at his book. “What’re you reading?” she asked picking through a pile of books on the table in front of them. She picked up a small book and read the title. ‘Love Games’ it said. Karla snorted at the Irony she would pick it it, she had no love life once so ever. She sighed and put it down. Karla looked back up at Harry and pulled the hair out of her eyes.
“Not jumpy” He said with a laugh before shaking his head. “I could catch a fly with chopsticks” He said with a smile, “In my dreams” Harry added with a laugh. “I’m reading about The Beatles. Because they’re awesome” Harry shrugged with a grin. He looked over at the book she had held up and rolled his eyes. Love wasn’t the thing he was thinking about at that moment. But it was the reason why he wasn’t at home and why he had even left town in the first place. “Love sucks” He said as he put his book down with a groan.
